\u00dc\u00e7a\u011f\u0131z is close to the island of Kekova and Kalek\u00f6y, where the ancient city of Simena with its half-submerged ruins is located. You can walk from here to Kalek\u00f6y during the day. The other alternative is to go on a boat trip and enjoy swimming and relaxing in the unique bays of Kekova. The boats also have a glass bottom. So you can see the underwater ruins as you pass over the wrecks.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div>

Anamur is a quaint Mediterranean town at the southernmost tip of Turkey. It is divided into Old and New Anamur. The old one is the quaint one with its back to the mountains. What really makes Anamur worthwhile as a quiet holiday destination are the wonderful beaches, historical sites, plateaus and rivers. Anamur takes its name from the ancient city of Anemurium and its ruins are about 6 km southwest. Memure Castle, also on the coast, is about 4 km away. It is a cozy Aegean coastal village where the ancient Alexandras Troads, the Alexandria of Troy, is located right next to it. You can reach the village by following the Geyikli road and Alexandrias Troads signs when you drive from \u00c7anakkale towards Izmir. 500 meters from the village, you can see the ruins of the ancient city on the right and left. This small village opposite Bozcaada has a beautiful beach. In the evenings, it is the perfect place to set the sun over the Aegean sea. It is a nice place for those looking for calmness with fish restaurants in the evenings. You can also go to Assos from here for a day. When it comes to the Eastern Black Sea plateaus, almost everyone rightly thinks of Ayder Plateau. On the opposite side of Ayder, on the other side of the Ka\u00e7kar Mountains, on the southern slopes of the Ka\u00e7kar Mountains, the village of Barhal in the Yusufeli district of Artvin province is a quiet place for those who prefer the mountains to the beaches with its natural and wild beauty plateaus and snowy mountain peaks, with the Barhal stream with its clear waters flowing from the mountains towards the rushing \u00c7oruh River.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> \n\t

Barhal is a small village in a deep valley, surrounded by fir, spruce and cedar forests. Apart from the small village center, the settlement is quite scattered. Two-story and terraced wooden houses built on steep slopes are scattered along the valley. There is also an old Georgian church dating back to the 10th or 11th century. When you arrive, you can have a calm and peaceful sleep with the sound of the creek and the occasional rain with your caravan.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div> \n\t

You can hike all day from Barhal village to the springs. If you are confident, you can even go up to Karag\u00f6l, a glacial lake very close to the summit. It is safer to go with a guide from the village. You will need sturdy boots or hiking shoes for this hike. You can fill your canteen with water from the fountains along the way.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div> \n\t<\/div>
